The Government of Rajasthan, Administrative Reforms and Coordination Department, has issued a crucial order regarding employee transfers. After a long-standing restriction, the government has temporarily lifted the complete ban on the transfer of government officers and employees across the state.

Key Dates for Rajasthan Transfer 2026
The lifting of the transfer ban is valid only for a limited window. Mark these dates carefully:
- Start Date: 19.06.2026
- End Date: 05.07.2026
Note: Transfers will be processed strictly within this duration unless extended by further notice.
Departments Still Under the Transfer Ban (Exceptions)
To ensure public service is not disrupted, the ban has not been lifted for two specific categories:
- Education Department (Third Grade Teachers): The transfer ban remains effective for Grade 3 teachers until further orders.
- Medical Department Personnel: Due to potential seasonal illnesses during the monsoon period, medical staff transfers remain restricted until further notice.
Priority Categories for Transfers
The government order specifically outlines that preference and priority will be given to the following cases during this transfer window:
- Single Women / Widows / Abandoned (Parityakta) women
- Employees suffering from incurable diseases certified by a medical board or competent authority (e.g., Cancer, severe Brain, Heart, Lung, or Kidney diseases, or other life-threatening illnesses)
- Long-serving employees (दीर्घावधि सेवा)
- Divyang (Differently-abled) employees
- Spouse Cases (Where both husband and wife are in government service)

This official order is comprehensively applicable. It governs not only the main government departments but also extends to:
- All State Corporations (निगम)
- Divisional Boards (मण्डल / बोर्ड)
- Autonomous Bodies/Institutions (स्वायत्तशाषी संस्थाएँ)
